Runescape Party Hat

Runescape is full of fun and exciting items, specially dropped on special occasions such as Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. Some of these items that were dropped years back in the world of Runescape have been extremely rare, and thus extremely valuable. For example, the Santa Hat of Christmas 2002. When dropped, they were only worth around 30k (30,000 GP) each, but now their worth has soared to the millions! This has been the same for items such as Halloween masks of 2003, and also Easter Eggs. Sadly this trend can’t happen with non-tradable items (not fair, I have a Scythe) but, that makes those non-tradable items even more rare even though you can’t sell them (yay!).

That moves us swiftly onto the Runescape Party Hat. These were dropped a while back too, and are the most commonly talked about rare item around.

Runescape Rare Items

Rare items you say? Yep, it’s true; there are items in Runescape that are very rare and worth millions of gold pieces. Take for example a few years back, when the good old Santa Hats were dropped (believe it or not, I had a character back then). They were being dropped all over the place, and were only worth 30,000 GP each. Now look at them, going for millions!

There were also an abundance of other items dropped on special occasions, for example, Easter Eggs on Easter 2002, and the brilliant Scythe on Halloween 2003. Those were the days...

For the more recent players though, there isn’t going to be a chance to obtain a very valuable item anymore and be able to sell it a few years later. That’s because Jagex have changed the way these holiday items are given out, and I don’t think they’ll carry the same value now as they have been made non-tradeable etc.

(Gosh, this reminds me, I need to figure out the username to my character with the Scythe!)

There isn’t much more to say about Runescape Rare Items really, so here’s a little FAQ:

How to Get Free Items on Runescape

There is one, and only one, real way to make money on Runescape: by getting and selling stuff. The more expensive the item, the more its worth. Pretty much anything you can find and have on Runescape can be sold. An item on Runescape can be worth 1 coin, or MILLIONS of coins.

Unfortunately, to be able to obtain items worth millions, or even thousands, you have to build skills, and you’ll need… coins! Everyone has to start somewhere, and the best way to start is by getting free stuff and than selling it. You can even save money if you just know where to look to get what you need for free.

Well, hopefully you won’t have to look too far. At least this article will make it easier for you to find ways to get free stuff.

Beg
Though this is the lowest thing to do out of the ways, it can work if you do it right. Begging requires patience, and the appearance of being poor, or a noob. Either one will be sympathized, usually. Here are some tips on begging:

Runescape Advanced Woodcutting Guide

My first ever, advanced RuneScape Woodcutting Guide. This guide will cover the fast ways to get from level 40 to 60 in your skill.

At this level I would recommend not going onto willows at yet. They are slow and tiring even at ten levels afterwards. Oaks are the best way to go. Log into the least crowded server you can find and go to Draynor Village Jail (South of Bank). There, go a little left and you'll see two Oaks. Just alternate when one is done. Bank and repeat. The bank is literally 5 seconds away. If this space is occupado go a little right beyond the fencing and there will also be two Oaks. Just keep going until level 50.
